Leone Island CEO, Dr. Jose Chameleone has revealed that he almost gave up on music because no one wanted to listen to him. The “Wale Wale” hit-maker, who was speaking to Capital FM Kenya in an interview, said that lack of encouragement almost made him leave music because no one wanted to give him a chance. “I tried many times to showcase my talents in Uganda, my home country – but no one, not even the existing artistes wanted to give me a chance,” he told Chao Tolle. The singer however noted that he would not be the star that he is today, or even travel the world to entertain his great fans if he did not endure. “If I had given-up – I wouldn’t be here,” he stated.
