Kenyan police on Saturday November 28, 2015 issued an alert for the arrest of Malik Yassin, a British citizen, who is suspected to have sneaked into the country from Somalia.
A statement released to newsrooms asked members of the public to provide any information on his whereabouts that would lead to his arrest.
Police suspect that Yassin is one of the Al-Shabaab foreign fighters of British origin.
Another British al-Shabaab foreign fighter was Thomas Evans – who was killed in the foiled attack on Baure Kenya Defence Forces Camp in Lamu.
Malik Yassin, whose photo appears here, is a British of Caucasian complexion.
Police said that he has dark brown hair and brown eyes and to disguise his appearance, he may have shaved his beard; his hair or both.
He is tall, slender and speaks with a British accent. Police urge the public to report any information on the wanted British terror suspect Malik Yassin.
On Friday November 27, 2015 another British national was found guilty in a UK court of attempting to join the radical terrorist group al-Shabaab in Somalia.
Trevor Mulindwa, age 21 was placed under arrest after being discovered to have several al-Shabaab propaganda movies in his possession in September of 2014.
He was arrested attempting to board a flight to Mogadishu, Somalia.
