Pope Francis’ visit to Kenya apparently served to bring together some senior political figureheads that are hardly spotted in public shaking hands or even embracing each other.
To the ordinary voter for instance, Raila Odinga’s strong divergent political stance and how he attacks Uhuru Kenyatta’s leadership, can make them believe that the two leaders actually never meet.
The same could be though of Mama Ngina Kenyatta, Uhuru’s mother and wife to Kenya’s first President Jomo Kenyatta. See Photos below.
However photos from Pope Francis Mass at the University of Nairobi on Thursday,November 26 demonstrate just how the differences played by the two politicians are merely ideological.
Raila Odinga actually rose to the occasion and shook hands with Uhuru’s mum, displaying all the respect that should be accorded to a senior citizen like Mama Ngina.
