Ugandan singer Chameleone hits back after Maurice Kirya criticizes artistes who attended presidential dinner

After attending a dinner hosted by President Yoweri Museveni that met criticism by some fellow artistes, Uganda’s finest singer Chameleone, has gone public saying he is not ashamed of supporting Museveni’s presidential bid. “I have a right to do whatever I wish to do. I know Besigye. I also know Amama. But my man is Museveni,” he said.
Fellow artiste Maurice Kirya who skipped the artistes’ State House invite had criticised Chameleone and the other artiste who went for the dinner terming them as ‘cheap’.

“For Maurice Kirya not to attend the dinner, that was his choice. We all have choices,” he dismissed.
